Zach's 2nd Birthday - 2005

Our youngest grandson, Zach, turned 2 on May 16th. Ryan and Sarah planned a celebration for May 14th and invited us down to help celebrate. We left a little early to go down to Salem for the party so we could stop by and pick up a "BIG" balloon to take to Zach. We arrived a little early at Ryan and Sarah's, so we enjoyed visiting with them and catching up on what had been happening in their lives. Zach was up and ready for his party to begin. We gave him his balloon, and "WOW" was his word for describing what he thought of the balloon. Zach then had fun telling us about the the items on the birthday table. We went out in the back yard so Zach could show us some of the things he could do on his swing set. For a 2 year old, he could get around on the swing set pretty good.

Ross, Heather, Austin, and Sydney Warren, as well as Grandma & Grandpa Burt and Cheyanne joined us in the backyard. Everyone had fun visiting and watching the little boys and the "BIG" boys play on the swing set. What a beautiful day to enjoy Zach's birthday outside, visiting and playing.

Then we all went inside to enjoy the festivities and watching Zach open his birthday gifts and have some birthday cake and ice cream. Before the party ended, Zach's Uncle Jon and his girlfriend, Lisa and her daughter, Breanna showed up to join the party.

After some birthday cake and ice cream, we all went back outside so that Zach could show off and play with some of his new birthday gifts. We had such a wonderful time that before we knew it, it was late and time for us to leave. It was another great birthday celebration and it seems like they come too close together. We're already "gearing up" for his 3rd birthday party. My, how fast they grow up.
