Zach's Baptism - August 10, 2003

The day after Sarah's birthday was another big event for Ryan and Sarah. Zach was going to be baptized at First Presbyterian Church of Salem. Rocke and I looked forward to going down to Salem to see this big event in Zach's life.

Pastor Rob Elder did a great baptism service. Little Zach was the perfect little angel and went through the whole service without crying . . . even when water was put on his head, he did not whimper.

After the baptism, Sarah's folks, Grandma and Grandpa Burt had several friends and family in for a very nice luncheon. Friends of the family came with a covered dish to help make things easier for Grandma and Grandpa Burt. Zach received lots of attention from everyone and was ready for a nice long nap. Again, he was a perfect little angel and slept while family and friends visited and enjoyed their food.
