Eisenhower Farm

Eisenhower National Historic Site is the home and farm of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Located adjacent to the Gettysburg Battlefield, the farm served the President as a weekend retreat and a meeting place for world leaders. With its peaceful setting and view of South Mountain, it was a much needed respite from Washington and a backdrop for efforts to reduce Cold War tensions.

Its a pretty little farm house with the emphasis on "little". There's nothing grand about its size but it does have an elegance all its own. It's the place where Ike wanted to retire in beautiful Gettysburg. And it just happens to have one of the best views in town!

The Eisenhower Home retains nearly all its original furnishings and offers a glimpse into the life and times of Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower. Once Inside the house, it looks and feels just like President Eisenhower and Mamie are still living there. It's definitely a "must see" for your trip to Gettysburg.
