Eternal Peace Monument

On July 3rd 1938 . . . President Roosevelt dedicated The Eternal Peace Monument in Gettysburg
and acknowledged Mr. Lincoln as
The Commander of The New Peace.

This is a picture of the Eternal Peace Monument. This monument shows that whole country is at eternal peace with one another. Some of the stone from the statue is from Alabama and some of the stone is from Maine. Both states are the same distance from that spot.
