We Gather To Ask The Lord's Blessing . . . Thanksgiving, 2005

It's Thanksgiving again. It seems like we just celebrated Thanksgiving (2004) yesterday. Time sure flies when we're having fun!!

Ryan and Sarah invited us down to celebrate Thanksgiving in their home in Salem, this year. Rocke, Ross, Heather, Austin, Sydney and I would join Ryan, Sarah and Zach around 2:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Everyone would contribute different foods, so that the burden wouldn't be all on one family. When we arrived, Sarah had already set a beautiful Thanksgiving table for all of us to enjoy our meal together.

We had a great time visiting and playing with the grandkids while the turkey finished baking. Then we all enjoyed a lavish and tasty meal. After Thanksgiving dinner, we visted some more while waiting for our meals to "settle" a little. Then it was time for some of Ross's homemade apple cobbler and ice cream (back on the diets next week!).
