White River Falls

White River Falls is located in White River Falls State Park. The White River plunges 90’ over a basalt shelf. The park offers excellent viewpoints of the White River falls

You can see the view of all three falls from this point of the trail. Top falls is called White River Falls (also known as Tygh Valley Falls), Middle White River Falls, and then Lower Whiter River Falls.

Pictured are from L to R: Sylvia, Ricky & Michael. Ricky again is hiding behind his view camera to get things set up to take a picture. The water is usually very clear, but the day we were there the water looked like coffee with a lot of cream in it. Ricky called it "Starbuck's" because it was literally the color of Starbuck's coffee with a lot of cream.
