1 cup Margarine
2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Soda
1 large Egg
1 tsp salt

Mix to moderately stiff dough; roll in small balls and dip in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet (do not flatten); bake 350 deg for 10 minutes. Grace Boon Recipe.
