SINGLE CRUST APPLE COBBLER

10 cups apples, sliced
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbs flour
3 Tbs margarine
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Place apples in 12 x 8 x 2" pan. Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt & sprinkle over apples. Dot w/margarine, place crust on top & cut slits; Bake 400 deg 45-50 minutes.

CRUST:

1 1/3 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbs water

Combine flour & salt; cut in Crisco w/pastry blender until course; sprinkle w/water & work into a ball. Roll out on floured board.
