1/2 cup sugar
1 cup scalded milk
2 tsp salt
2 Pkg yeast
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup warm water
2 eggs
7 cups flour
Put yeast in water; stir; set aside. In small pan melt marg in milk until
milk scalds. Mix in salt, sugar, 2 cups flour at low speed until smooth. Add
yeast mixture, mix. Add 2 cups flour, mix. Add flour slowly until dough is smooth
& not sticky. Let dough rise 1 hr; beat down; let rest 15 min; roll out;
cut & let rise 35 min. Bake 350 deg 20-25 min. Filling: 4 Tbs butter, 1
cup brown sugar, 4 tsp cinnamon. Karen Anderson Recipe.
