Happy 21st Birthday for the third time - September 11th, 2007

Yes, that's me, I turned 21 for the 3rd time. Hey, Rocke did it . . . I can, too! Seems like my birthdays are getting closer and closer together. We celebrate one birthday and before we know it, it's time to celebrate again.

I wanted a blower/vac for my birthday, so Rocke took me out shopping about a week before my birthday to pick out my gift. I had fun in Home Depot picking out the right blower/vac for me. I picked out a Homelite 30CC Vac Attack II Gas Blower/Vac/Mulcher. I could hardly wait to get home so Rocke could put it together for me. Wow, I could hardly believe I finally had a blower to clean off our front walk and driveway. Come on Rocke, get it assembled, so I can have some fun!! Rocke showed me how to operate it and what fun I had. What a great gift!

Michael and Sylvia could not be in Portland for my birthday, so they came over the weekend before and delivered my gift from them. It was a basket filled with items from Avon called Rare Gold. There was body lotion, shower gel, body power, and cologne. Hummmmm, every thing smelled so good!

The day of my birthday, I had gone out shopping and when I arrived home, Rocke called me into the dinning room. On the dining room table he had a birthday bear and a carrot cake cupcake with three candles on it to represent my turning 63. He sang, Happy Birthday to me and I blew out the candles.

Heather, Austin and Sydney came over the evening of my birthday to bring a gift and spend some time visiting with us. Ross had to work. Another awesome gift. They give me two beautiful picture frames. Now I can work on getting some of the family pictures in the frames and hung on the wall.

While visiting with Sydney, Austin and Heather, our granddaughters, Erin, Kate and Megan called from California to sing Happy Birthday to me. Also, that same day I received a phone call from Michael, Sylvia, and my sister and her husband, Kitty and Stan, from Florida. Stan's birthday is the same day as mine.

Later, that day, the door bell rang and there was a box for me. I opened it and in it was a beautiful bouquet of pink roses from my son, Ricky in Fort Worth, Texas, What an awesome surprise.

I had a great time the day after my birthday at Spirit Mountain with my friend, Jigisha. After arriving home, Rocke took me to The Cheese Cake Factory for my birthday dinner.

Then last, but not least, from the Robin, Mary, Erin, Kate and Megan, I received a birthday card with some gift cards for Barnes & Noble. I can hardly wait to go to the bookstore.

What a great birthday! The only thing left to make my birthday complete this year is a visit from my son, Ricky and his girlfriend, Ann, from Texas on the 27th of September.
