Mary's Birthday - September 11, 2002

Rocke and I stayed home and celebrated my birthday by ourselves this year. Rocke baked me a chocolate birthday cake and fixed a nice birthday dinner. We continued my birthday celebration when we went down to Las Vegas at the end of September. Rocke took me out to dinner and a show, Tournament of the Kings, at Excalibur. We both had a wonderful time.

Robin, Mary, Erin and Kate sent me a gift certificate from "Build-A-Bear". I had a great time going to the store and building my birthday bear. Rocke got a kick out of watching me pick out the bear, and picking out the right clothes for the bear. A heart for the bear came with the gift certificate, so when the task of picking out the bear was done, I had to make a wish, jump up and down 5 times, kiss the heart on boths sides and put it into the bear. While I was doing all this, Rocke was enjoying watching me and grinning from ear to ear.
