Happy Birthday Kate - August 23, 2005

Rocke and I cannot believe how fast our grandchildren are growing up. Seems like just yesterday Kate had her 4th birthday party and now it's time to celebrate her 5th birthday. Where has the time gone? They're just growing up way to fast!!

Kate had two birthday celebrations this year. Robin, Mary and the grandaughters came up to visit for a week in August. It was a joy for the family to help her have her first birthday celebration up here in Portland, on August 13th. Actually, on August 13th, Megan, our third grandaughter, turned two and after celebrating Megan Birthday with her, we had the joy of having an early celebration with Kate for her birthday. Since they live in California, this was really a joy for Rocke and I to help celebrate both birthdays, here in Oregon.

After arriving home in California, Kate had another birthday celebration with her family.
