Christmas With The Ryan Warren Family - 2004

Rocke and I came back from having Christmas with Robin, Mary and the girls. We both arrived back home with a cold. Seems like it took us forever to get over the cold, so it made it hard to schedule a time to have Christmas with Ryan, Sarah and Zach, as we did not want them to come down with our colds.

Rocke and I finally were feeling better and arranged to have Ryan, Sarah and Zach up to our place for a late Christmas dinner and to exchange gifts. Ryan was off from work on January 17th, 2005 because of a holiday (Martin Luther King Day), so we all decided that would be a good day to have the them up.

They arrived at our home around 11 a.m. and we had the chance to visit before fixing Christmas lunch. It had been a long time since we last saw them, so it was nice catching up on what had been happening in their lives.

We all drifted out into the kitchen and continued our visit while Rocke and I finished cooking lunch. Rocke wanted to serve one of his favorite dishes, Sweet & Sour Pork. We all sat down to enjoy our meal together. Rocke and I were surprised that Zach did not need a booster seat for the chair at the table. He had grown tall enough to sit in a regular chair like the rest of us. My, how he is growing!

After enjoying a delicious meal, it was time for us to open gifts. Of course, Zach got the honors of opening one of his gifts first. After exchanging gifts, we visted some more before it was time for Ryan, Sarah and Zach to leave and return home to Salem.
