Happy 4th Birthday, Austin - June 25th, 2006

We can hardly believe that our first born grandson just turned 4 years old! Getting his "Spiderman" birthday invitation in the mail got us in gear and excited to do something special for Austin's birthday. Austin is a "Spiderman" fan, and it was the theme for his birthday this year. Austin knows all the characters and into anything that has to do with "Spiderman". For his birthday card this year we found a picture of Spiderman and had him wishing Austin a "Happy 4th Birthday" with a picture of Austin standing by Spiderman.

The big day arrived and we were over at Austin's house at 2:00 p.m. and ready to help him celebrate his big day. When we arrived, his Grandma and Grandpa Gold, and Great Grandma Bea were there, anxious and ready to help Austin celebrate his birthday. While we waited for the rest of the birthday guests to arrive, we visited and brought each other "up to speed" on what was going on.

Once all the birthday guests were there, Austin was ready to dig into his big pile of birthday gifts. He received numerous gifts and could hardly wait to open each and every one of them. His "Big Surprise" was a "Big" boy Spiderman bike from his mom and dad.

After the gifts were opened, we all joined Austin at his birthday table to sing Happy Birthday and watch him blow out his number 4 candle. Wouldn't you know it, he had a "Spiderman" birthday cake.

What a great time we had helping Spiderman, Austin and all his birthday guests celebrate Austin's turning 4 years old!
